Dear Friends,
I'm so pumped to tell you about a few things: an upcoming performance (with a full orchestra!) in Seattle, my Atlas: II digital collection out now, a new song from a friend, and Christmas Vinyl. First -
I am elated to share that my latest, Atlas: II is now out in the world as a complete 25-song collection, everywhere digital music is!! (Vinyl/CD Box Sets are coming very soon!!)
As you may already know, Atlas is a longform series of songs. Named "Atlas", because each theme explored throughout this project is a map of sorts - a map of where we've been (Atlas: I), who we are (Atlas: II) and where we're going (Atlas: III.)
Atlas began a while back with, Atlas: I. 30 songs that explored the origins of everything through the themes of Darkness, Light, Space, Land and Oceans. (Where we've been.)
This latest chapter in my Atlas series, Atlas: IIwas inspired by involuntary human development - what we're born with: Life, Senses, Emotions, Intelligence and our personality, Enneagram. (Who we are.)
And in the near future, the third chapter of this series, Atlas: III will begin, which will be inspired by voluntary human development - what we DO with all that we're given. (Where we're going.)
Atlas: II Vinyl/CD Box Sets are coming very soon!! (as well as a special-edition "Enneagram" set!) You can get Atlas: I now on vinyl or CD, here.
Huge thanks to Tim Damitz, who designed the beautiful new cover art for my Atlas series!!
I am SO thrilled to get to be a part of a truly special evening in Seattle on November 15th, where I get to be a guest and perform a few of my songs with the support of a full Orchestra and Choir!! I. cannot. wait.
The incredibly gifted composer and my pal, Mateo Messina (Grammy Winner Music from the film, Juno) was kind enough to invite me to join him and his team as a guest performer in his 22nd annual concert benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital! What they do in Seattle to further advance research towards finding a cure for childhood cancer is incredible and we as musicians are honored to support their life-changing work!
I invite you to join me and the talented folks at LUMA Guild on November 15th at the historic Benaroya Hall in Downtown Seattle. It’s a night that will help us raise money for the uncompensated fund care, as well as the tireless research being conducted by the pioneers in the industry. Such an honor to be a part of this evening - I hope to see you there! Tickets and info here!
I had the honor of lending my voice to my friend Ryan Paul's music project, Wax//Wane on his new song "Over The Hill"! It's out everywhere music is! Also, our friend Philip Shephard played Cellos on it! It's a beautiful song and I hope you'll give it a listen!
Hope your Halloween was safe and so much fun!! Heaps more to tell you about soon. Xoxox
Huge Love,
Ryan - Sleeping At Last
