New String Version of Bloom (Eros)
I'm so thrilled to share that a new string version of Bloom (Eros) is out now!! The absolutely wonderful, Sharon Gerber and Anya-Katarina Gerber played all of the strings you hear throughout the song. What a privilege it is to get to make music with such amazing humans. It was mixed and mastered by my talented pal, Chris Bethea. This new string version is out now everywhere as part of my Atlas: Survive EP...
Atlas: Survive EP
With the recent release of my song, Bloom (Eros), the first official theme of Atlas: III is now complete: Survive. As previously mentioned, Atlas: III is inspired by voluntary human development—what we do with all that we have. Loosely based on the theory of Spiral Dynamics, each theme throughout Atlas: III will be sequenced in the order of human development. In this first theme, Survive, the songs Awake and Asleeprepresent the start of consciousness and our basic human need for rest. Bloom (Eros)is inspired by the Greek idea of love, eros, and represents the start of romantic and instinctual love. Each of the upcoming themes in Atlas: III will contain three songs: two partnered songs (i.e., Awake/Asleep) and a love song inspired by the Greek definitions of love.
