New Astronomy Song & More!

Dear Friends,

I hope 2025 is shaping up to be a beautiful year for you! I'm back in London and working on a bunch of new music, preparing for upcoming shows and enjoying wintering with my family. I've got a few things to share with you today! At a glance:

  • New Astronomy Song

  • You Are Enough & In The Embers with the PS22 Chorus

  • Sound of Silence Grammy nomination & Kennedy Center shows

  • Thanks for an incredible 2024

New Astronomy Song

January 21, 2025: Planet Parade / Comet ATLAS belongs to my Astronomy series (mini soundtracks for astronomical events or discoveries) and is out now! This piece is inspired by two astronomical events that are happening at the same time: The parade of planets and comet ATLAS, both currently visible!

Some nerdy easter eggs: There are four planets visible in the current planet parade: Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Venus (plus Uranus and Neptune, just not quite so visible), thus there are subtle piano nods to my songs, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Venus throughout (plus even more subtle nods to Uranus and Neptune). I recorded this song in Illinois and London and used four different pianos (one for each of the visible planets).

All of the strings you hear were played by the always-wonderful Sharon Gerber and Anya-Katarina Gerber!! Artwork by the ever-excellent Tim Damitz and mastered by the constantly-awesome Chris Bethea.

Songs with the PS22 Chorus

Getting to sing with and meet PS22 Chorus was one of the very best musical experiences of my life. The kids were the absolute sweetest and sounded SO amazing. Hearing the lyrics to You Are Enough and In The Embers through their voices... No words. I was brought to tears multiple times that afternoon and these videos are something I will be forever grateful for. Thank you Gregg and all of the incredible PS22 kids for letting me visit and sing with you all!!

The Sound of Silence Grammy Nomination

Massive congratulations to Cody Fry on his Grammy nomination for his cover of The Sound of Silence! I am so very honored to have gotten to lend my voice to this spectacular recording!!

Feb 11, 12 - Kennedy Center - Cody Fry & Friends

Speaking of Cody Fry, I have the honor of joining him and LANY alongside the National Symphony Orchestra for two shows at the iconic Kennedy Center in DC! Hope to see you there!!

Thank You for 2024

Every new year, I feel overwhelmed (in a wonderful way) by the reflection of the passing year and the hope and potential of the year ahead. I am deeply grateful for all that 2024 held and just wanted to say thank you so much for listening - for welcoming my new music into your ears and for such a warm welcome back to playing live shows again. What a gift you've given me.

I am so very excited for all that lies aheads in 2025. There will be consistent Atlas: III song releases, more Astronomy and Atoms songs, a bunch more live shows and a lot more that I can't share quite yet!

Here's to an incredible 2025!

Huge Love, Ryan
